PRAISE DANCE MINISTRY

Praise Dance Ministry

A New Praise and Generation Next Praise Dancers

Scripture:  Psalm 149: 3 “Let them praise his name in the dance.”

Mission Statement:  As members of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, it is our mission and desire to minister God’s word through dance.  We dance to celebrate, worship, and praise God, our Father, and Jesus, our Risen Savior, through the leading of the holy spirit. Through participation in this ministry, we seek to bring ourselves closer to Christ and touch the heart of those who do not know Him, giving them a desire to be in his presence and to follow his word.

Vision Statement:  It is our vision to draw others to Christ through dance.  It is our desire to go outside these four walls and use dance to minister to those who are lost and make a change in their lives while changing our own.

Purpose:

  • To create an environment of worship, so one can enter the presence of the Lord. (Psalm 134:2)
  •  To communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to reach the lost. (1 John 1:7)
  • To expose and destroy the works of the enemy through worship.

       (2 Samuel 22:4)

  • Show divine revelation through movement with the Truth of the Word! (Revelation 19:10)

Motto:  Don’t let your circumstance determine your praise dance!

Mission:  Our mission is to worshipthe Lord our Godwith the unspokenword andminister to the hearts of the people so that God will get all the glory and praise.  To show divine revelation through movement with the Truth of the Word

Vision:Our visionisto use our given gifts to bring others into the kingdom of God, and see lost souls come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is our hope and prayer that spiritual chains are broken, freedom in praise and worship is attained, and inspiration, strength and encouragement are received.

Purpose:  The purpose of the mime ministry is to glorify God and exalt
Jesus Christ by the expressions, and without any spoken word.  We seek
to help others and ourselves grow closer to Christ and to be more like
him.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Children’s Ministry

Children are a gift from the Lord. - Psalm 127:3

The Children's Ministries Department at New Jerusalem is dedicated to teaching and reaching your family with God's love. The very purpose of each class and program is to teach the exciting and life changing truths found in God's Word and mentor Christ-like characteristics in a safe, fun and age appropriate setting. Many ministry opportunities are made available to children as they learn to share God's love with others. It is our desire to be a prayer partner and resource to families, reinforcing godly values and truths as we work together to build God's Kingdom one life at a time.

ACT4 CHRIST DRAMA MINISTRY

ACT 4 Christ Drama Ministry

2 Tim 3:16-17 states, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
1 Tim 4:2 commands us to “Preach the word! … rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching” and v. 12 delineates, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Therefore, in keeping with these scriptures, our mission is to use theater as a ministry to encourage, instruct, and uplift the body of Christ and to build up a vibrant, enthusiastic group of people on fire for God.

Our vision is to be a vibrant and radical ministry of people who love God and love others and who seek to glorify God through dramatic interpretation and edify His people in a phenomenal, unique, and unforgettable way.

Our ministrations are all scripturally-based and cover most genres of theater including comedy, thriller, suspense, song, dance, and poetry. We explore a variety of themes that portray the reality of Christian living and address issues such as, but not limited to, praise, fear, doubt, mortality, and sexuality.

The Mission
1) To guide people of all ages to Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2) To introduce Jesus Christ creatively to people of all ages.
3) To plant a seed in hearts and let God take care of the growing.
4) To truthfully portray the Word of God in a creative, effective and touching way.
5) To bring the Scriptures to life in order to advance a person’s understanding of God’s Word.
